Chinese Grandma Supporting Gay Son Goes Viral

This 90-year-old grandmother did something spectacular. Despite what one might assume given her age and the fact that she is mainland Chinese and lives in China, she fully supports her gay son and wishes him a happy, healthy life with his a "good boyfriend."

In the brief video, according to a YouTube description, she says:
"I'm 90 years old. My grandson, @木头宅, is gay. He is very dutiful and sensible. I love him dearly. I hope he finds a good boyfriend and lives a happy life, and I hope that the government supports him."

The video was produced by PFLAG, which stands for Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays. The organization is a way for allies of LGBT people to help promote LGBT acceptance and rights.
