Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, the gay designers who founded the famous and powerful luxury brand Dolce & Gabbana, recently spoke out against gay adoption. According to translations of spanish news outlets, they "say no to gay adoptions." They even went as far as to use the word "synthetic" to refer to "children of chemistry" (assumed to be those born by such procedures as IV fertilization, which straight couples use as well). Needless to say, this offended many people, straight and gay alike.

It didn't take long for some to respond. Gay celebrities Elton John, Ricky Martin, and Martina Navratilova took to Instagram and Twitter to voice their opposition and call for a boycott of the famous brand.

What do you think? Are you boycotting D&G? Let us know in the comments!
